Organisational Constellations: An Practice to Reveal Patterns and Systems
Organisational Constellations is a systems mapping modality. Its purpose is to reveal. Systems can be an organisational unit, the full organisation or a team. Systems include parts that are explicit, easily viewable and manipulated and covert parts that create impact and sometimes harm–slowing down progress, stressing teams, and generating disruptive patterns with seemingly no clear source.
Through systems mapping you are able to reveal all the parts of the system, place them in relationship with one another, and allow the story of what is getting the way and/or what opportunities are ahead to move towards what you want.
If you have been puzzled by why, no no matter who you select, the marketing director only lasts for six months, are curious about why a member of your team is unable to develop in their leadership skills, are curious about how disruptive factors from the external environment will impact your collective purpose, organisational systems constellation is a tool growing in the growing field of organisational development that can help you to realise with greater clarity the quality of work and culture you long for.
During this offering, we will have an overview of organisational constellations and a practice, where participants will be invited to join in representing systems and their parts to give help reveal better ways of working and being. You can also bring your own questions about patterns that you are observing in your organisation.
