Tuition: $675 CAD + $30 Material Fee

Earth Based Medicine

With Yarrow Willard

October 7 - 12, 2022

Awaken your inner herbalist and deepen your connection to the healing power of the natural world. 

In this program we will build a rich tapestry of tools, techniques, wisdom traditions, and energetic mapping systems that make up the fundamentals of earth based medicine. Through the lens of various holistic health traditions we will explore ways to recognize the nature of health and disease, flow and blockage, and many other corresponding relationships. We will learn to better understand the languages spoken through our senses and grown through our connections with people, place and practice.

Our time will be broken up into blocks of direct connection, group work, plant walks, mindfulness, and medicine making. All woven together with a focus on deepening connection with our path as healers and active stewards
of the earth.

As a participant you will walk away a with the herbal preparations we make in class together, and a rich understanding of various healing modalities. You will also get an in-depth medicine crafting hand-out and access to all the diagnosis maps, slides, and diagrams used in class.

Be prepared to take notes, get your hands dirty and build your confidence in your ability to heal and be healed by the world around you.

This Program will support you to:

  • Learn the language(s) that nature speaks in
  • Feel into the intelligent design found in yourself and other organisms
  • Read and recognize patterns of health and disease
  • Harvest and Process plants in an ethical and integral way
  • Make a wide variety of plant medicines and herbal preparations
  • Connect with the plants, mushrooms, seaweed and other organisms found in the pacific northwest ecosystem
  • Weave together wisdom teachings from old world herbal systems
  • Build your relationship with people, plants, and planet

Materials

$30 material fee to cover the cost of Herbal Pharmacy materials. Participants will take home the medicines we create in this intensive.
