A Training in Lateral Liberation
With Kim Haxton and Kris Archie
June 12 - 17, 2020
We look forward to offering this program next year.
Sign-up to be notified when we have new dates. You may also find details on Hollyhock’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic here.
We are living in a time of high contrast.
Explore Indigenous concepts of land, place, and decolonization. Examine decolonial practices (language, art, economics and gender) combined with embodied knowledge of Indigenous peoples, and the ways that centring this knowledge can rupture the politics of what is considered valid “knowing.” Together we will learn to laterally liberate consciousness.
Kim Haxton will also be presenting IndigenEYEZ: Leadership Essentials on July 12-16 2020.
Can’t make it to Cortes Island? IndigenEYEZ will be presenting Truth & ReconciliACTION on May 25 and Champions of Change on October 22 in Vancouver.
