Loretta Laurin, also known as Lo (they/she), facilitates meaningful and moving experiences. Their facilitation style is grounded, playful, and effective. Lo is a certified life coach and is completing a Masters in Counselling Psychology to become a Registered Clinical Counsellor. Their coaching/counselling style centers socially-just, relational, and mind-body practices. They also have 15 years of experience teaching movement (yoga, dance, pilates, fitness). Furthermore, as a conference strategist, they work with social change-based organizations to create connective, inclusive, and trauma-informed events.
Lo is a queer, multi-racial settler born and raised in the traditional, Ancestral, and unceded territories of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil- Waututh) First Nations peoples. They are committed to supporting the stewardship of this land, and the self-determination of First Nations peoples here and across Turtle Island.
