Journey Towards Balance & Wholeness: A Retreat for Women

With Ratha Chek, Jennifer Lorca and Ana Ferrari

June 3 - 8, 2022

How often do you check in with your body, tune into what you need, and what you can do for yourself from a place of self-compassion?  We all long to be seen, heard, understood and loved. We heal when we feel safe and connected to our bodies, our breath, the present moment, and in relationships  to others. Only when we experience connection to ourselves and to others can we open to our vulnerability and emotions to discover and express what is true to us. This expression through felt wisdom is what heals.

Wisdom of the women who speak from the truth of their experience informed our circle. Collective wisdom of women supports and inspires you to trust what you know in your heart is true with confidence and hope. During our 5-day healing retreat, you will cultivate a personal intention in the community of women as a collective witness. You arrive here alone and reemerge with a renewed sense of self-elevation with purpose and direction forward.

Ratha Chek, MA, CYT, RCC, is a Body Psychotherapist, artist, and developer of Mindfulness-Based Somatic Therapy®. She bring over 20 years of clinical experience and insight in the healing of trauma into her therapy, training, and mentorship programs. Jennifer Lorca, BSN, is a Somatic Therapist with the Centre for Mindfulness-Based Somatic Therapy®, former hospice nurse, Pain BC patient partner, advocate & volunteer, End of Life Doula, holistic health practitioner, and Spoonie. Her background in theatre (acting, writing, movement, voice) and energy modalities (Energy Medicine Yoga, Reiki, Terapeutic Touch, Healing Touch) create a multimodal approach to health and wholeness and enriches her work as an MBST® practitioner, mentor, and facilitator. Ana Ferrari, MC, RCC, is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with BCACC in private practice who brings over 15 years of extensive experience in the mental health and personal growth fields. She offers mentoring and intuitive life coaching, as well as counselling in English and Spanish.
