We gather to celebrate the launch of groundbreaking social entrepreneur Madeleine Shaw’s first book, The Greater Good: Social Entrepreneurship for Everyday People Who Want to Change the World.
Madeleine and her longtime Aisle (formerly Lunapads) Co-founder Suzanne Siemens were among the earliest leaders to commercialize reusable menstrual products, a thriving industry today. Having founded her first venture in 1993 at the age of 25, Madeleine has since also founded G Day, a national event series for girls, and Nestworks, a family-friendly coworking community.
In The Greater Good, Madeleine paints a compelling portrait of an emerging group of changemakers: mostly female, diverse, and social impact focused from the SheEO, BCorp and SVI communities. Interwoven with the personal stories of these leaders, The Greater Good is as much about the inner journey as the outer “how tos” and is designed to entertain, motivate, and offer tools and resources for aspiring and seasoned entrepreneurs alike!
Madeleine will engage in a lively and illuminating conversation with leaders featured in the upcoming book: Satya Organic Skincare founder Patrice Mousseau, Aisle co-founder and CEO Suzanne Siemens and Nadia Hamilton, President & Founder, Magnusmode, followed by an interactive breakout session and networking opportunity.
