Location: Cortes Island

Tuition: $595 CAD

Package Price: $1,150 - $2,385 CAD / 5 nights. Includes tuition, room, all meals, and Hollyhock activities (depends on accommodation choice). Taxes and fees are additional. A $395 deposit is required at registration, with the balance due on your departure day.

Scholarships: Full and partial scholarships are available based on financial need. We prioritize Indigenous people, people of colour, people who identify as LGBTQ2IA+, youth, elders, and those who can articulate how their Hollyhock experience will support positive impact in their life and communities. A $195 refundable deposit is required (please contact us if you are unable to pay this deposit). Apply within your registration form.

Dancing from the Inside Out

With Margie Gillis

Move into your body’s experiential wisdom and reveal the soul in motion. Develop your sensitivity to the connection between thought, feeling, spirit and body as you listen in to your body’s inner wisdom, impulses, conversations and emotions. Becoming sensitive to and engaging with this inner life provides information both for expanding well-being, as well as deepening  your artistic and creative expression.

Re-awaken the joy of movement using dance exercises, games, imagery and guided movement motifs. Open your soul’s connection to the body and invite it out to breathe and play, to stretch, learn and grow, to articulate the most nuanced of emotions.

All levels are welcome as the program is tailored to the participants in the room. Beginners gain a better understanding of the body while the more experienced acquire a greater knowledge of their own special ways of moving while enhancing the quality of their performance level.

Dancing from the Inside Out is a superb program full of joy and inner reflection. Margie is an inspirational instructor who knows how to read the class and guides us along self discovery through dance. – 2019 participant
