Olivia Hornby

Olivia is a Managing Partner and founding partner at Spring Impact Capital, a venture fund focused on investing in Canadian innovations for a more healthy, sustainable and equitable future. Her fund is actively deploying capital into pre-seed Canadian companies in climate and health. She has more than 15 years experience in finance and was formerly a VP at Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

Her career has focused on investing, from stocks, bonds, hedge funds and alternative investments at RBC, Vancity, and multi-billion dollar funds in London, UK and Vancouver. She has a keen interest in supporting women entrepreneurs and investors, and sits on the Board of the Association of Women in Finance, is an investor with the Women’s Equity Lab and part of the impact investing committee for the Roadburg Foundation. She obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University with a concentration in Finance and minor in Socio-Cultural Anthropology.
