July 15 - 19, 2026
“This retreat literally changed my life. To receive these absolutely profound teachings from Lama Tsultrim, a teacher seeped in the authentic Dzogchen lineage for so many years, while being held by the nurturing beauty of Hollyhock shifted my entire perspective and therefore my life. “ – past participant
Access your true nature; your naturally awake, luminous, primordial wisdom. Your effortless awareness.
We will draw from the profound teachings of the thirteenth century Tibetan yogi and scholar Longchenpa, who poetically transmitted the wisdom beyond words, the immeasurable space of awareness, and presented it in the Chöying Dzöd, Treasury of the Dharmadhātu. This retreat will explore excerpts of this profound text with guided meditations, open dialogue and time in nature.
“The true nature of phenomena— suchness— has no beginning, middle, or end. This state of infinite evenness, equal to space and pure by nature, has no beginning or end. It is beyond any time frame. It is unborn and unceasing and has no substance or characteristics. It neither comes nor goes and cannot be characterized as some ‘thing.’” – From the Chöying Dzöd
What You Can Expect
This teaching relates to the all pervading sky-like nature of mind. We will spend some time in sky practice and some time integrating with the elements in the beautiful forests surrounding Hollyhock. Most sessions will be held in the teaching hall. Gentle yoga and meditation practice will also be offered in the early morning and evening, and Lama Tsultrim will teach two times a day.
Who This Program is For
This retreat is suitable for those who want to deepen their meditation practice to go beyond mindfulness into effortless, open awareness, the all pervasive ground of being. These are the most profound teachings from Tibet and a base in meditation practice is recommended.
