Ben Leggett

Ben Leggett is a heart-centered educator and facilitator devoted to rekindling the living relationship between humans and the natural world. With a Master’s degree in Environmental Education and a lifelong love for the Earth, Ben weaves together ecology, mindfulness, and intentional rituals of connection to guide others back into belonging with the land.

Having attended multiple ten-day silent meditation retreats and participated in deep grief work, Ben brings a grounded, compassionate presence to his teaching. His approach is rooted in the understanding that personal and ecological healing are intertwined—each inviting us to remember our place within the greater web of life.

Ben draws inspiration from teachers such as Bill Plotkin, Joanna Macy, Francis Weller, and many others who have devoted their lives to deep ecology, soul work, and the art of living in harmony with the Earth. Through reflective practice and shared ritual, he invites participants to slow down, listen deeply, and cultivate relationships of reciprocity with the living world. His work strives to re-wed humans to the more-than-human community, nurturing ways of being that are relational, reverent, and alive.

When not facilitating, Ben can often be found wandering forest trails, tending his food forest, or sitting quietly by the sea—listening for what the Earth has to say.
