Sarah Selecky’s collection This Cake Is for the Party was a finalist for the Giller Prize and Commonwealth Prize, and her novel Radiant Shimmering Light was optioned by HBO. She holds an MFA from the University of British Columbia and founded the Sarah Selecky Writing School in 2011. Since then, she’s taught thousands of writers from over 20 countries the art of writing with both intuition and intellect. Her new book, Story Is a State of Mind: Writing and the Art of Creative Curiosity teaches writers how to build a whole-minded writing practice for an inspired and successful writing life.
