Morẹ́nikẹ́ Ẹniọlá Ọláòṣebìkan is a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Innovator, a Licensed Clinical Pharmacist and Pharmacy owner.

Morẹ́nikẹ́ founded the Kemet Group in 2021 which designs and builds pop-up drug manufacturing facilities and includes a software platform that will anticipate, track and resolve drug shortages and drug insecurity globally and particularly, in countries in Africa.

Today approximately 1.6 million people in Africa die every year because they do not have access to lifesaving drugs for diseases like HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.

Morẹ́nikẹ́ is also the Founder of the Ribbon Rouge Foundation which she scaled into a million-dollar social enterprise addressing health disparities for marginalized Black people. The Ribbon Rouge Foundation has served more than 1400 clients in various programs over the years, and now provides meaningful long-term employment for Black scholars who engage in systems change work.

Morẹ́nikẹ́ has also served as the Vice Chair of the Competence committee for the Alberta College of Pharmacy, the Vice Chair of Engineers Without Borders, and served on the Board of Directors of CapitalCare Foundation.

Morẹ́nikẹ́ has wanted to make a difference since she was seven years old. That’s when she learned about entire villages of children in Nigeria who had lost their parents to HIV and AIDS.

She is a multi-award winning scholar and professional with a track record that includes: Recipient of the 2017 Edmonton’s Top 40 under 40; 2017 Campus Alberta – Health Outcomes & Public Health Award; 2017 Canadian Public Health Association – Patient Care Achievement Award for Health Promotion; 2015 University of Alberta – Preceptor of the Year; a recognition by the Canadian Parliament in 2017 with a Canada 150 pin, and by the Mayor and City of Edmonton in 2014 for her expansive contributions and community involvement.
