Megan Sheldon

Megan Sheldon (she/her) is the co-founder of Be Ceremonial, the world’s first guided ritual and ceremony app. Megan is a cultural mythologist, humanist celebrant, and end-of-life doula living and working in North Vancouver, BC. She has created hundreds of ceremonies for people around the world, focusing on what she calls the ‘seemingly invisible moments of change’, such as pregnancy loss, organ transplantation, menopause, living funerals, and death anniversaries.

About Be Ceremonial

Megan (Be Ceremonial) and Christa (Death’s Apprentice) bring a ‘head and heart approach’ to navigating grief and loss that extends far beyond end-of-life concerns. They recognize that personal losses have profound implications for organizational culture and have created integrated programming that addresses a full spectrum of loss experiences in both personal and professional contexts.

Their programs combine advance care planning concepts, organizational wellness strategies, and ceremonial design methodologies to teach forward-thinking business leaders how to handle grief and loss in the workplace as skillfully as they handle budget projection and strategic development. By sharing practical knowledge and providing tools to foster honest dialogue about major life transitions, their workshops help organizations create more supportive, grief-literate workplace cultures.
