Belinda is an enrolled member of the Diné (Navajo) Nation. Her paternal lineage is from the
Zuni people.
Belinda holds degrees in Health Sciences, Public Health, and Technology. Since 2018, she
has been working as an educator of earth-based principles and the ethical responsibility of
plant medicines. Belinda has received training in MDMA therapy, ketamine-assisted
therapy, and eye desensitization and reprocessing therapy.
She was a member of the State of Colorado’s Natural Medicine Act, Federally Recognized
American Tribes and Indigenous Community Work Group of the Natural Medicine
rulemaking process in the State of Colorado, and the Psychedelic Association of Arizona.
She is a co-founder and board member of the Church of the Eagle and the Condor. The first
non-Christian church to receive protection for the use of ayahuasca within it spiritual
practice.
Belinda is the author of several publications impacting Native American communities and
a contributing author to several psychedelic books to help bring an inner standing of
Indigenous views and help bridge gaps of understanding between psychedelic science and
Indigenous heart-centeredness.
