Amrit Maharaj

Amrit Maharaj is a Canadian entrepreneur and executive with nearly two decades of experience spanning real estate development, hospitality, and food innovation. He founded Coho Commissary, Vancouver’s premier shared kitchen network. In these roles, he supports hundreds of food entrepreneurs while scaling beloved consumer brands.

Previously, Amrit was Principal of Avaram Homes & Investments, leading residential development projects, and co-founded Suna Studios, one of Vancouver’s largest provider of music rehearsal spaces.

A committed volunteer, Amrit has dedicated over 20 years to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, and other organizations including Habitat for Humanity Canada, , and the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, and served on the board of the Elevate Society.

His contributions have been recognized with the BC Achievement Community Award and inclusion in Maneesh Media’s 50 Under 50 – Young and Aspiring Indo-Canadians. Amrit is known for blending entrepreneurship and community impact, creating ventures that enrich lives and strengthen communities.
