Amneet Singh Bali is a Canadian digital strategist, communications professional, and human rights advocate based in Ottawa. He currently serves as a Senior Communications Officer and Digital Campaign Specialist for the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE). Previously, Amneet gained national prominence as the National Digital Director for the federal New Democratic Party (NDP) and the communications director for Jagmeet Singh’s successful leadership campaign, where he helped pioneer digital strategy.
Beyond politics, Amneet is a recognized human rights activist featured in the Canadian Museum for Human Rights for his advocacy regarding the 1984 Sikh Genocide. His extensive academic background includes a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Windsor, a Master of Laws (LLM) with a specialization in Transitional Justice and Post-Conflict Reconstrition from Western University, and a Master’s in Conflict Studies from the University of Ottawa, all underpinning his career-long focus on social justice and human rights.
