About 350.org
350.org is a global grassroots movement of ordinary people working to end the age of fossil fuels and to build a just, equitable world powered by clean, accessible, and affordable renewable energy. We campaign locally and globally to stop fossil fuel projects, challenge the systems driving the climate crisis, and accelerate a community-led transition to renewable energy. We resist fossil fuels and their enablers, and push for climate solutions that put people and justice first. Our name refers to 350 parts per million—the safe upper limit of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Today, we’re well above that threshold, making our mission more urgent than ever. Through a powerful international network of campaigns and local groups, we’ve helped stop major fossil fuel projects, moved trillions out of dirty energy, and trained thousands to take action. Together, we’re building a future grounded in justice and driven by people, not polluters.
