North Star Visioning helps people navigate change and transition. For each of us as individuals and collectively in organizations and society, there comes a time when the old structures and ways of being fall away and we wonder, “Now what?” Through coaching and teaching, North Star Visioning’s Founder Alima Ali works with individuals and groups to help them better understand the nature of the change and transitions they are facing, and supports them in developing new strategies for finding their way forward. Alima is an experienced workshop facilitator with more than 20 years of presenting in-person and online learning experiences for adults across the United States and in Canada with a focus on leadership development, navigating change, cultivating personal resilience and exploring the intersections between science and culture. She draws on her own ancestral background of Indian wisdom practices as well as her understanding of energy from working in space physics on NASA spacecraft missions. Alima holds a Master of Education degree from Lesley University and is currently working towards a Certificate in Organizational Coaching from UBC to become an ICF-certified leadership coach.
