Dr. Stacey Goldberg is the co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of PhyCo Technologies Inc., a Canadian marine biotechnology company developing sustainable, seaweed-based biomaterials and bioplastics. She holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Prince Edward Island and an M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University.

A scientist-turned-entrepreneur with 25 years of experience spanning academia, industry, and the non-profit sector, Stacey has expertise in biotechnology, biochemistry, microbiology, marine natural products, and biomaterials. Her work focuses on translating scientific research into practical, commercially viable solutions. She is particularly passionate about harnessing nature to develop safer, more sustainable materials and support a circular economy.
