Music for Collective Sound

With Morley and Sheila Wahsquonaikezhik

July 17 - 21, 2019

Celebrate the power of our shared humanity, racial, cultural and religious diversity and interdependence with nature. Explore self-expression through music, guided meditation, conflict resolution games, dialogue facilitation techniques, vocal release, song writing and Hatha Yoga. Explore wellness as ritual through song, dance, yoga and story telling.

Morley’s long time collaborator and friend, Sheila Wahsquonaikezhik will join us to share special teachings and facilitate conversations  on how nature invites us to participate in a larger collective sound.

During your time with Morley and Sheila on beautiful Cortes Island, you will:

  • learn how to write your heart’s song
  • deepen your connection to the breath
  • strengthen your awareness of your body’s alignment
  • gain confidence in expressing yourself through sound and movement

When given the opportunity and space, people can access their hearts’ song, even when the world is loud, especially when it seems overwhelmingly so.

No prior musical experience necessary.
