The Art of Resting Well
With Farah Nazarali
September 27 - October 1, 2024
Bring your tired and weary souls for a restful, restorative, and rejuvenating retreat that is an immersion into the art of resting well.
This experiential retreat is designed to provide rest for your body, mind, and spirit through land-based and somatic practices–guided beach walks, mindful forest walking, sunset gazing, restorative yoga, yoga nidra, poetry, slow and mindful eating, and other ancient and contemporary practices that support rest, relaxation, and collective liberation.
“Farah’s presence and teachings have been one of the biggest blessings of my life. She has introduced me to teachings and practices that have opened my heart in ways I never imagined. Her constant example and beautiful energy keep me inspired.” – Jade, Past participant
We will draw inspiration from classical and contemporary spiritual texts, How to Relax by Thich Naht Hanh, Buddha Standard Time by Lama Surya Das, The Art of Stillness by Pico Iyer, and The Nap Ministry by Tricia Hersey to unravel our habitual drive to accomplish and achieve and learn to dwell in being as an act of resistance and spiritual and collective liberation.
Step out of the digital realm and the addiction to urgency and learn to slow down and shift your relationship with time. Transform your relationship with being productive and dive deep into the realms of leisure, imagination, possibility, and spontaneity.
