Our presenters are curated for their quality, depth, integrity, and alignment with our educational purpose. Since 1982, a distinguished faculty of authors, educators, activists, artists, performers, and practitioners have shared their work at our Cortes Island campus and in Vancouver.

Meera Bawa

Meera Bawa is a certified Changes & Transitions Strategist, trained by Phillip Moffitt founder of Dharma Wisdom. In her role as a Strategist, Meera leads workshops and meets with individuals one-to-one to uncover pathways to a more consistent experience of wellbeing. Meditation, worksheets, poetry and space to explore the availability of choice in each life informs Strategist sessions and moves participants toward values based decision making. Meera is energized by witnessing the transformation of individuals from presenting as defeated and deflated to empowered and energetic as ownership of choice and values based living is revealed.

In addition to her role as a Strategist, Meera is a lawyer and author. Her professional experience includes roles in NGOs, private companies, government, and public enterprises. She has worked internationally and has been based in Taiwan and China. Community and connection are important to Meera. She has served as a board member and volunteer with several organizations including the Vancouver Public Library, Vancouver Opera Society, YWCA Metro Vancouver, and Big Sisters of the Lower Mainland.
