Robyn Hines

Robyn Hines (she/her) has a love of yoga that began over 25 years ago during a period of tragic personal loss. She tiptoed in, but quickly dove deeply, gaining breadth and depth of practice. On her mat, she found solid grounding in life and flourished in her healing. There she found her true home, where she could access calm and a profound connection with her inner teacher.

Taking her studies further, she is a 500Hr RYT, inspired by Anusara & Iyengar traditions, trained with Embodied Flow™ and Revolution Yoga™. Both are Hatha yoga styles: focusing on alignment, somatics and ‘heart and grace’ in flow.

Robyn guides gentle fundamental flow classes incorporating foundational alignment, yin and restorative yoga, free movement, breath-work and meditation. Having struggled with anxiety, she values helping others find their own foundation of grounded calm and stillness of mind through consistent practice. She and her partner co-own Odonata Wellness, a boutique yoga wellness studio in downtown Kamloops, BC.

Robyn & Dan share a large blended family: seven adult children, their partners and eight grandchildren living as far east as Ottawa and as far west as Vancouver Island. They maintain a winter home in their cozy cabin in the forest near Kamloops and in spring and summer, on their sailboat, Anam Cara, in the Southern Okanagan near Penticton BC.
