Loretta Laurin, who goes by Lo (they/she) is a queer therapist, movement teacher, and facilitator. Lo’s approach is grounded in relational, somatic (body-based), and socially just practices. They are a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) specializing in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Relational Life Therapy (RLT) for couples/relationships. In addition, Lo is a movement teacher with over 15 years of experience guiding yoga, pilates, dance, and fitness.
Lo also has over a decade of experience working in non-profit, union, and social enterprise spaces, including being the co-founder of Shift Delivery Co-operative. Currently, as a conference strategist, they work with social impact organizations to create connective, inclusive, and trauma-informed events.
Lo was born and raised in the traditional, Ancestral, and unceded territories of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil- Waututh) First Nations peoples. They are committed to supporting the stewardship of this land, and the self-determination of First Nations peoples here and across Turtle Island.
