Allow me to offer you a little context regarding my enthusiasm for your attendance at Social Venture Institute (SVI). In 2006, I experienced the Hollyhock Leadership Institute as a scholarship recipient. Eventually, I’ve been able to reciprocate as a volunteer, an advisor and now as a facilitator. It is a pleasure and a privilege to have been collaborating with the SVI production team since 2015.

I believe in the transformative power of this place, your courage, our cooperation, and the flourishing of our creativity. Together, let’s reimagine and remember how to live, work and play such that our enterprise helps the world work better.

As an arts-based engagement facilitator, I devise and deliver initiatives with municipal and provincial governments, universities, unions, and cultural organizations. My professional and personal practices centre around community capacity building. For me, SVI has been a contributing factor to my sustained belief in people power.
