An intuitive and grounded program planner, KK (Karen Kazumi) brings nearly two decades of community development and programming experience to her role. She leads the “core program” team at Hollyhock – a small, talented, and creative remote team who spend a lot of time thinking about what is needed in our communities, and what transformative programming could look like.

KK has been with Hollyhock in programming since 2017. She lives in rural Nanoose Bay on Vancouver island with partner Alex, daughter Thea, extended family, and beloved pets.
