Amy Moroni

As a five-time founder and social impact entrepreneur, Amy holds over two decades of experience as a creative leader, community builder, economic developer and local champion. She is a lifelong possibilitarian and optimist who is passionate about weaving together the threads of art, food, music, culture, and entrepreneurship into dynamic, purpose-driven community initiatives. She loves to work with teams that choreograph the visions of others into practical magic, building businesses, strategies, systems, programs, and movements that shift narratives, grow capacity, enable belonging, and spark change.

As a creative, enthusiastic leader and facilitator, Amy has driven social impact through entrepreneurship, music and arts programming, local food systems, and inclusive economic development, including Indigenous business projects. She is currently engaged in BC’s cultural and entrepreneurial landscape through business and non-profit consulting projects, grant writing, public speaking, creative placemaking, and economic development, as well as her passion projects in textile arts, fashion and music.

Amy currently lives and works on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stóō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations and grew up in the unceded territories of the Lhtako Dene and the Tŝilhqot’in Nations.
