Chinese Internal Arts such as Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Bagua among others, offer insight into the subtle energies of the human body, opening us to increased vitality and awareness. Explore these practices as they interweave with mindfulness and loving kindness meditation – deepening inner connections, and reawakening our capacity for healing and presence.
You can expect to learn and practice:
- Basic foundations of the Chinese Internal Arts and mindfulness meditation
- Techniques for opening the body to prepare it for internal practices
- Developing qualities of song (relax/release), and ting (listening/inner awareness) within the framework of Chinese Internal arts
- Formal meditations skills including mindfulness of the breath, metta and open awareness practices

Paul Bromley is an Occupational Therapist, teacher and practitioner of Chinese Internal Arts for over 25 years. He travels the world to study with masters of these ancient traditions, and share their benefits. Paul completed the Medical Acupuncture Program in 2013 in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Alberta with Dr. Steven Aung, and is registered to practice acupuncture in his work as an Occupational Therapist. He integrates his understanding of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medical theory thus deepening his understanding of the Internal Arts.
