Meditation & Internal Arts: Balancing Movement and Stillness

With Mark Sherman, M.D. and Paul Bromley

October 12 - 17, 2019

Open your body and relax your mind.

Chinese Internal Arts such as Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Bagua among others, offer insight into the subtle energies of the human body, opening us to increased vitality and awareness. Explore these practices as they interweave with mindfulness and loving kindness meditation – deepening inner connections, and reawakening our capacity for healing and presence.

You can expect to learn and practice:

  • Basic foundations of the Chinese Internal Arts and mindfulness meditation
  • Techniques for opening the body to prepare it for internal practices
  • Developing qualities of song (relax/release), and ting (listening/inner awareness) within the framework of Chinese Internal arts
  • Formal meditations skills including mindfulness of the breath, metta and open awareness practices
