Loretta (Lo) Laurin

Loretta Laurin, also known as Lo (they/she), facilitates meaningful and moving experiences. Their facilitation style is connective and effective, bringing groups together towards common goals.

Co-founder of the worker cooperative Shift Delivery, Lo has a keen eye for democratic and inclusive organizational development. As a conference strategist, they work with social change-based organizations to create connective, accessible, and trauma-informed events. Lo also has over 10 years of experience working in communications and marketing with a focus on working with social enterprises, non-profits, and unions.

Lo is also a certified life coach and is completing a Masters of Counselling Psychology to become a Registered Clinical Counsellor. Their coaching/counselling style centers socially-just, relational, and somatic practices. They also have 15 years of experience teaching movement (yoga, pilates, dance, fitness).

Lo is a queer, multi-racial settler born and raised in the traditional, Ancestral, and unceded territories of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil- Waututh) First Nations peoples. They are committed to supporting the stewardship of this land, and the self-determination of First Nations peoples here and across Turtle Island.
