Do you want to be a part of a movement that creates real change? Are you tired of feeling hopeless in the face of injustice and inequality? Look no further than People, Power, Change taught by the one and only Olivia Chow from July 5 – 9, 2023.
This immersive five-day retreat will teach you the fundamentals of how to make changes, from telling your story to motivate others, building intentional relationships, strategizing, locating power and translating it into productive action that creates concrete systemic change.
But it’s not just about learning the skills. It’s about connecting with like-minded leaders from across Canada and enhancing your leadership skills while practicing self-care.
You will learn:
- How to articulate a story of why we are called to lead
- Build intentional relationships
- Create a structure that distributes power and responsibility
- Strategize turning your resources into the power to achieve clear goals
- Translate strategy into measurable, motivational, and effective action.
Joining Olivia Chow in teaching is Duncan Pike, an experienced Institute for Change Leader (ICL) instructor and campaigner. All of the teaching team within this program have certificates from Marshall Ganz’s courses at the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Leadership Program.
The Institute for Change Leaders has trained more than 10,000 organizers across the globe, and they’re not stopping any time soon. You can be a part of that movement. Watch this short video to hear from past participants on how the training has impacted them.
If you don’t think you’re ready to be an organizer? Think again. Whether you’re just beginning your journey or you’re a seasoned activist with a team behind you, People, Power, Change will give you the tools and connections you need to fight against injustices you see around you.
