Two Minutes of Hope

Hand holding a seedling | Hollyhock

As we bear witness to the increasing severity of the climate crisis, we are faced with questions that cut to the very nature of who we are and the ultimate fate of our human species. With little framework to emotionally or spiritually process the magnitude of this experience, we may move into grief, anxiety, or emotional withdrawal.

Climate Hope is a project to help us build spiritual and emotional resilience so that we may engage with the climate reality from a place of joy and productivity.

Listen in to two teachers in resilience share their messages of hope:

Dr. Spring Cheng is the co-Founder of Resonance Path Institute. She is an author, teacher, leadership coach, and social innovator. Her work blazes a path through the uncharted territory between her native cultural roots in China and her adopted cultural home of North America.

Once called “the most intriguing African-American Buddhist” by Library Journal, and “one of our wisest voices on social evolution” by Krista Tippett, Rev. angel Kyodo williams Sensei, is an author, maverick spiritual teacher, master trainer and founder of Transformative Change. She has been bridging the worlds of personal transformation and justice since the publication of her critically-acclaimed book, Being Black: Zen and the Art of Living With Fearlessness and Grace.
