Tulips are perennial, meaning that they can come back every year from their underground bullbs. However, tulip season runs from the end of March until mid May, so you’re going to see them at their brightest in spring. After the flowers start to wilt, we take them out and store the bulbs for next year, so we can use the garden space for other veggies.
Hollyhock gardener Dana shows us a bit more of the Hollyhock garden and explains how to store your tulips for the next season.
