Foundations Of Herbal Medicine

With Jasmyn Clift and Kevin Kunzler

September 25 - 29, 2022

“As a newcomer to herbal studies, I found both Jasmyn and Kevin to be knowledgeable, attentive, and approachable. A whole new world was opened up to me” – K.R. Victoria, B.C.

Join us for an herbal intensive like no other! Hollyhock and Wild Seed School have partnered to offer a uniquely immersive herbal experience.

Bursting with life and abundance, the Hollyhock garden is your canvas to explore and harvest. Wild Seed School co-founders Jasmyn Clift and Kevin Kunzler will guide you in learning to identify and delight in common medicines and to extract them with skill through plant walks, medicine making, and discussions of plant lore and beginner’s botany. No matter your experience with herbal medicines, you will walk away from this course with greater knowledge and understanding of this scientifically-grounded methodology and practice.

Learning Objectives:

  • Basic Herbal Knowledge
  • Herbal Medicine Making: Tinctures, Teas, Vinegars, and more
  • Basic Botany

Look forward to taking home the skills and knowledge you need to embark on or continue your herbalism practice, as well as a collection of potent medicines harvested and crafted by you!

The Wild Seed School teaches traditional medicines for modern pathologies, valuing mathematical precision and using ethically-harvested, high-quality herbs.

This training intensive is designed for beginners and returning enthusiasts who are looking for a refresher course. Expect to be astonished at how much you will learn!

“I really appreciated the feminist, decolonizing, and anti-poverty ethics at Wild Seed, and your commitment to accessibility. I hope to return one day!” – A.T.S., Bellingham, WA
